On Thursday, January 27, the Law School’s Institute for International Law and Public Policy will host William A. Schabas for a talk entitled “Victor’s Justice: Selecting Targets for International Prosecution.” Professor Schabas directs the Irish Centre for Human Rights at the National University of Ireland, Galway, where he holds the chair in human rights law. The talk will start at 11:45 in room 2A.
On Friday, January 28, Professor Peter Lindseth to discuss his new book, “Power and Legitimacy: Reconciling Europe and the Nation-State” (Oxford University Press, 2010). Professor Lindseth is the Olimpiad S. Ioffe Professor of International and Comparative Law at the University of Connecticut Law School. Professor Daniel Kelemen, who directs the Center for European Studies at Rutgers University, will serve as discussant. This session will start at 11:45 in room 1C. Pizza will be served.
